No trouble at all in Pantoland

“Look behind you!”
For over 40 years, Crickhowell and District players have been making magic and entertaining the community of Crickhowell and district with our annual Pantomime. A long and Happy Tradition

“Oh yes it has!”
The Players are a community group who welcome all ages and abilities to both come and see the show, but also to take part in all aspects of the production, whether on stage performing, back-stage, in costume or set design and production, making the music, making up the players, our volunteers come from all sectors of the community.

“It’ll be all right on the night!”
Our annual Panto is the highlight of the year with rehearsals starting in September. Led by our brilliant director Jacqui Daniell, Musical Director Di Winter and Choreographer Emma Evans, our group of nearly 50 volunteers bring fun and laughter to some dark January nights. This seasons Panto is called “Trouble in Pantoland”

“All together now”
In addition to our panto we have participated in many events, from Charity Concerts, Santa’s arrival and Lighting up ceremony  and numerous fetes and events.
We believe that as many groups and individuals should gain not just enjoyment by being involved with us. Many fundraising groups undertake the refreshments at our Panto. This year it will be the Friends of the Primary School.

When we can we directly sponsor events and in 2015 as part of Crickhowell Literature Festival we were delighted to co-sponsor, with Mrs Hindmarsh of the Bear Hotel, the Mad Hatters Tea party for Senior Citizens at the Clarence hall. A great afternoon.

“There is nothing like a Dame”
Our Dames have come in all shapes and sizes, and this year as part of Cric’s Christmas event came dressed as a tree!!!

We welcome new members and volunteers in all aspects of our fun. Please get in touch if you are interested
And don’t forget folks our Panto runs from Jan 28th-30th 2016. Tickets still available from Webbs, Jehus, Bookish and Cric
