On Saturday 10th Nov at 2.30pm, Jan Vaughan, HPS National Chairman, will describe the aims, successes and challenges of the national ‘HPS Conservation Scheme’. The scheme identifies perennial plants in need of conservation and, with the help of individuals and groups growing them in their own plots including here locally, assesses whether the plants are worthy of being grown more widely. She will also be telling us more about the Hardy Plant Society nationally.

Visitors are very welcome: £5, incl. refreshments. Also usually some plants for sale.
Doors open at 2pm, talk starts at 2.30pm and the meeting finishes around 4.15pm.

The Monmouthshire group of the Hardy Plant Society (HPS) meets in Usk as it is centrally located. Usk Centenary Hall (NP15 1AD) is at the rear of the Memorial Hall car park, opposite the prison, with free parking.
