Come and have some fun playing Japanese Taiko drums at two taster workshop days, Taiko Tester Session are suitable for adults and children. You will feel energised and uplifted by the rhythms and body movements of Taiko. These amazing drums will give you an experience like no other (5th).

If you are looking for something for the family in January, why not join us for another amazing Westenders Pantomime. This year they are putting on Jack & The Beanstalk! A show full of comedy and magic, bursting with energy it’s Giant fun for the whole family (18th-25th).

If you need a laugh after the festive season, we have the perfect night for you! Join us in the Theatr Brycheiniog Gallery for an intimate evening of comedy presented by Little Wander, Comedy Club our comedy club deal is £20: includes your ticket, a pre-show curry and a choice of beer, wine or a soft drink 16+ (24th).

January sees the start of an amazing year filled with live music starting with Catrin Finch and Cimarron. (28th) Catrin Finch is a remarkable and fearless artist, one of the world’s leading harp players, whose career has featured both solo performances with the world’s top orchestras and, more recently, collaborations with some of the leading world music artists, including Toumani Diabate and Senegalese kora player Seckou Keita.

The music continues with Fairport Convention, (30th) the concert will start with a set by special guests Ben Smith and Jimmy Brewer. They are famed for their close harmony singing and guitar virtuosity. Ben and Jimmy have showcased in Nashville, supported Ralph McTell on tour, and played Fairport’s Cropredy Convention and Cambridge Folk Festival.
