Totally Locally Crickhowell Fiver Fest

June 12th, 2019

Between 8th and 15th June, Crickhowell’s independent businesses will be taking part in the Totally Locally National Fiver Fest with an incredible array of over 30 Five Pound Deals for you to enjoy!

We hear it a lot don’t we: Shop Locally! Support your local businesses! The fact is, though, that a lot of people don’t do so for a variety of reasons, one of which is that it’s too hard, that they need to use supermarkets or make online purchases in their day to day lives and that shopping locally is a bit of a struggle.

But, what if spending just £5 a week in local shops meant that you were doing your bit to support your local businesses and economy? That’s achievable, right? On a larger scale, if every adult in the UK spent £5 per week in their local shops and businesses instead of online, at the supermarket or with huge multinationals, it would be worth £13.5 BILLION per year going back into our towns. For Crickhowell, that’s over half a million pounds per year. That means real jobs, better facilities and an improved place to live. Makes you think doesn’t it?

With all of this in mind, the fantastic shops and businesses in Crickhowell have come together to create a £5 deal that not only represents excellent value for money (the RRP on these deals is typically much higher), but also encourages you to help support the local economy.

Check out our map to see the deals and where they can be found. Happy Shopping!
