Chris Whitelock, Horticultural consultant and trainer, will explain how the different types of soils, growing media and fertilisers can all help (and hinder) the growth of plants and make all the difference to our gardens. This is not a talk that requires an expert audience! Chris will explain how we all start with the soil we have but that the choices we then make are far more important than we realise.
Visitors are very welcome: £5, incl. refreshments. Members £3. Also usually some plants for sale. Doors open at 2pm, the talk starts at 2.30pm and the meeting finishes around 4.15pm.
