It wasn’t so long ago that Abergavenny was surrounded by allotments, nurseries, orchards and horticulture growers. So what happened to all that local growing culture? To the east of the town we have some of best growing land in Wales. Habits will have to change in the light of climate change pressures and post-Brexit food tariffs. So the conference agenda will stretch from strategic policy thinking for growing fruit and veg across the whole of Wales, to those doing it on the ground, leading the way, around this locality. Book your place at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/more-veg-please-tickets-94876390839 Vegetarian/vegan buffet with locally sourced ingredients £8 payable on the day.
